Mahara was contracted to conduct a socio-economic assessment component of the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Port Development Project – Aqaba.

• Mahara was contracted to conduct an assessment on the current situation regarding quality social work and education practices in Jordan in line with international standards to produce an evidence based paper.
• Mahara will design key recommendations that would lead national efforts in the professionalization and development of social work in Jordan.

Mahara was contracted to design three 'youth based' projects under the 'Public Diplomacy' initiative, based on debates and elections, women and children rights, and diversity and equality.

Mahara is the technical manager of 'Establishing Maan Community Radio' project. Maan Community Radio is a community-development radio station, funded and counseled by the British Council, run and managed by the Public Relations and Social Development Department at the University of King Hussein Bin Talal. This station is the first decentralized radio station concerned with community development in Jordan.

Mahara is the technical manager of the 'Establishing Jordanian Youth Parliament' project.

The purpose of this project is to provide Jordanian youth with sustainable mechanisms to actively and genuinely participate in the political development process on the national and local community levels, furthermore, contribute in shaping competent future leaders, and expose Jordanian youth to international democratic youth forums.
